Palm Springs

We did a TrustedHousesitter gig over Christmas and spent a week with Moose (L) and Ellie (R) while their dads traveled home for the holidays.

Despite the "atmospheric river" that flooded the pool area patio the day before Christmas, we were able to keep the water out of the house!

One of the highlights during our stay was an architecture tour by bicycle. It was a great, slow way to see some of the postmodern homes Palm Springs is known for.

We rode through a few notable neighborhoods, one of which was the Twin Palms development, a subdivision of 90 homes designed by architect William Krisel. The Little Free Library there was perfection! See also "Modernism Week," a huge event the city hosts each year.
